I am more than just a loan officer. Don’t you want to know a little more about who you are dealing with? What is transparency all about?
(Snow Storm # 3 of 2010 - 2/10/10)
I always love to get to know a little about my clients and my referral partners. Some of us don't like to share our personal lives with complete strangers. But how much of a stranger am I too you if you have to share and trust me with your financial information? Right? It doesn't matter if you got my name from a trusted realtor, your best friend, a family member, or even the internet. PS.. you can sometimes trust the internet and some people that you find on the internet. It doesn't matter if I am 5 states away from you. I truly believe that it comes down to being upfront, honest, being sincere & genuine, and having integrity.
In any case, for those that don't know me, I love snow....I so love it. just as much as I love what I do, and that is helping people with their American Dream of owning a home. I am not perfect, but I consider myself damn good and very knowledgeable. I take my job very personally and I am extremely passionate in what I do.
SUCCESS-
The Life of Jeff Belonger -- Who is the guy behind the numbers ????
(link above - this is a long post, but it tells a lot about me)
How does one measure success? Some think it's the amout of money that you have. Some think it's all about your possessions. For me? It's all about those that I love the most, that I care for, and in helping my clients or anyone out there. Just giving the best advice that I know and educating them. It's not about the best price or best interest rate. (stay tune for a blog post on this topic) I just love to help...
More about me? I am 42, single, never been married, and no kids. Does it mean that I am a failure? I have been asked as a joke, "what is wrong with me then." Well, does it matter... I have now found her... please read on.
And now my true love comes into my life !!!
Please click on this link to listen to this song as you read the rest. I don't want to miss a thing by Rod Stewart - Ever see the movie Armageddon? I love this song and this scene and this makes me think of Penny.
After so many years, I have found the one. Life is funny and sometimes takes longer than one thinks, to meet that special someone, your soul mate. And since I have been 30 or so, I realized that I would travel to the ends of the earth to meet that special someone.
Penny and I met on an online game called Second Life, thanks to a friend of mine who introduced me to it. For those of you that noticed that I disappeared from Active Rain and from blogging for 2 1/2 months, this was where I was spending most of my time.
In any case, Penny and I met 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving and we have been basically talking every day since then. No, she doesn't live around the corner from
me. The ironic thing is that she was born and raised in Staten Island and her family and some friends now live in Northern New Jersey. For those that don't know, I live in Southern New Jersey. At this moment, Penny lives outside the St. Louis area. The good news is that she is visiting for a week because a friend of hers is having an engagement party. We have decided that she will have an extended time and stay with me for 10 days or so... that's if she doesn't run the first day when we meet face to face. lol Seriously, the more that we talk, the more that I keep falling for her and see that we have soooo much in common. Who ever said opposites attract and why??
As I have stated, we just have so much in common....
- She loves 80's music and amazes me every time I try to think of a song and that I give her a clue, she remembers the bands name and the song.
- That we both love the Cure and both love this song : Just Like Heaven by the Cure - this has become our song
- We both love sushi .. and I hated fish while growing up. lol
- We both love the colors orange & green and believe it or not, our favorite numbers are 3 & 7....
- She loves to travel, loves art and loves architecture. If you didn't read my first part of Jeff Belonger, I went to college originally for Landscape Architecture.
- She wants to have at least 2 kids and so do I... and we have talked about how we would want kids raised and have agreed on the same, which is very important in any relationship.
- And just as of last week, we both love licorice, especially black licorice.
And the list could go on and on.... one thing though. I love sports. She doesn't follow sports, but has said that she would love to learn about some of them and what I love.
Overall, you can sometimes find love in the strangest places.... and even online. Does anyone know these two? Jason Sardi & Jennifer Monroe. These two met through Active Rain and are now finally living together. I first remember when they met and that it finally became real. What about Bob Stewart and Christa Caulk? If anyone knows Missy Caulk, this is her daughter. They met at a function, both living thousands of miles away also, and now they are engaged to be married next month. And I have had the pleasure of meeting all of them except for Missy Caulk. Both couples are lovely and great people.
So, How did you meet your partner? Your special someone? Would love to hear any and all stories, even if you aren't part of Active Rain. ... please share...
In any case.. I have met the love of my life and my best friend. Penny and I won’t be spending Valentine’s Day together… we won’t be meeting until February 25th, 2010…. and I have something planned then since we won’t be together today. But this was my Valentine’s gift to you……
Happy Valentine’s Day Sweetie
