Vented or Ventless?????

News flash in Tennessee. I dont know if all States requires this or not. To us here in Tennessee its fairly new. If you list a house with a vented or ventless gas fireplace make it it is ventless that you need to have it certified by a qulified installer regarding equipped with ODS (oxygen detection system) It will be required at closing so why not be a step ahead and get it done.

RL,

Wouldn`t a ventless Gas Fireplace seem dangerous?

So far it has not been a problem. Most of our new constructions have ventless gas fireplaces. Thanks so much for asking .Renate lemons

Renate, I haven't heard anything about this, is it something statewide or only county by county? I just listed something with a ventless. Thanks
