Its rare when a home is for sale in Rainbow Springs, Nantahala, NC. People who purchase here do so in mind to keep it forever. Who wouldn't fall in love with this area. Bordered by the USFS and along Nantahala River where the locals boast of the fly fishing, tubing and boating.

My husband and I used to enjoy camping at Rainbow Springs. What are the homesites/homes selling for? Are any in foreclosure?

Land up there is quite high because they don't make that anymore. I wish I bought in there back in 1988 when the Power company was selling it. You can get a nice lot on the river for about $100,000 and UP.

I doubt we will see any foreclosures in that area. We do have a few here in Franklin though. Like I said, its rare that a home is on the market for sale up there.
