The weather plays a big role in our everyday lives and pretty much determines what our outdoor activities will be. A forcast calling for rain can really put a damper on a day planned at the beach or a picnic at the park. I always joke the only folks that like it when it rains are farmers and Home Inspectors.
One reason I like it so much is because a good soaking really helps to reveal any leaks in and around a home that may go unnoticed otherwise. Especially those basement water problems or roof flashing leaks. Clients are always wondering if their home inspection will take place on a day that it's raining. I tell them Oh Yeah, today is a bonus day, your home is gonna be a bit more talkative than if it were dry and sunny out.
