After the long cold white winter in Michigan comes MUD!

I know some of you are having snow like never before,

but here in Michigan, I think it has been quite a mild winter

in regards to cold and ice and snow storms. Probably because

the snow plow is on Big Red just waiting for it to come .....

Look at this mud!

wow it is snowing right now here in Massachusetts, looks so pretty,  the trees are glistening with the new snow but mud, never thought much about mud in Massachusetts, wow looks pretty intimidating!

Hi Marilyn, I think I would take the snow over the mud, unless I had a nice big "mudder" truck like that!  Hope your 2010 is going well for you.

Right now our snow looks a lot like 6 foot high mud piles along the sides of the roads.  Ugly!

I think I'll take the snow rather than the mud!  Too may car washes with the mud -snow will melt off.

Wow, that is a ton of mud!  I have lived in Michigan my entire life and can't say I have experienced mud to that extent; thank goodness my car would never get out.  The snow id beautiful while untouched on the ground, but after that it melts to a soggy, yes possibly muddy mess.  The pictures of the lake are great though.

I don't really like mud, snow, or ice, but I guess sometimes you can't avoid all of them. Looks like a few people are having fun anyway.

Mary Beth, the new fallen snow glistening on the trees is beautiful! Thanks!

Bruce, it is thanks!

Kathy, I agree!

Cindy, Oh yes, they can be ugly mounds!

Jody, you've got that right! Mud

Ms. at VanDyk, you have to know where to find it! Thank-you, the lake is beautiful!

JL, It's called making the most of it!!!! I don't especially like them either, but if you live in it, you must find a way to have fun with it!

Thanks for dropping in and saying hi! Have a great day!

Reminds me of playing mud football in the rain when I was in college at Texas A&M. So many things that I don't do anymore.... LOL

Time marches on and on! Huh? How about those good ole days !!!! My son loved playing in the rain when it would get all slippery and they'd fall down a lot and get those silly white uniform pants all muddy!
