Flying with Eagles, or Flocking With Turkeys?

Active Rain is a nice place to talk shop.  But what kind of shop are you talking?  

Does it matter what you allow yourself to think about and talk about?  Are you waiting for the market to bring you business, or are you going after it in faith?

Let's consider Eagles and Turkeys.  Eagles go get their prey.  They chase it and GRAB for it while Turkeys just wander and hope they luck onto some food.  BIG DIFFERENCE. 

Here in Greater Toledo, the sky already fell.  The turkeys are gobbling and cackling about doom and gloom while the Eagles are soaring.... 

Our market overall is down 20% YTD.  I hurt for the people who want to sell, or need to sell, and cannot.  I rejoice with the people who are buying at better prices than they hoped. 

BUT THIS MARKET DOES NOT DEFINE ME and it does not have to define ANY REALTOR.  We make our own fortune, with God's help, by what we allow ourselves to think. 

I am up 50% YTD, as are many here who refuse to bow to the mob psychology.
