The first time home buyer credit of $8,000 expires for contracts not written by 4/30/10; they must close by 6/30/10. This is the same deadline for the "repeat buyers" credit of $6,500. Remember that "repeat buyer" does not mean you have to move up. A "repeat buyer" just has to move from one residence to another.
