I know this is loud and bold but I don't want anyone to miss out on this opportunity.

The tax credit is available for first time homebuyers.  Up to $8,000 for a home pruchased before April 30th.  You can close in May but the contract has to be finalized and signed by all before 30 April 2010.

The tax credit is available for resale buyers who have occupied their present home for 5 consecutive out of the last 8 years.  Cap for repeat buyers is $6,500. 

Income limitations have been increased to $125,000/year for single homebuyers.

Income limitations have been increased to $225,000/year for married homebuyers.

There are adjusted credits available for up to $145,000 single; and $245,000 joint.

This is free money people!  How often does someone offer you thousands of dollars for doing something you were going to do anyway?

Carole, yes, I do hope that everyone is able to use it but you know there are always some procrastinators who wait until the last  minute which is rapidly approaching.

Denise, the statisticians and political analysts think it will not be extended again.

Hi Maria, You got my attention with the bold colors, I hope you got some buyers attention too.  The count down has started.  If people are only able to look at homes on the weekend, the number of shopping days are cut drastically - like down to 18 shopping days!
