Motivational Power Quote

Why is Money Like Manure?

"Money is like manure,

it's not worth a thing unless it's

spread around encouraging

things to grow."

Thorton Wilder, playwright and novelist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Why is money like manure?

Both have a purpose used  when used properly they make things grow.

Manure doesn't smell very good. But used properly it provides a benefit of providing fertilizer. That fertilizer increases the yield of the crops.

Money has very little value when it's not being used or invested with a purpose.

Put your money to work for you. Set a little aside from every paid check into an investment account and over time the money will grow.

Pay yourself first, and watch the money grow.

I once heard that calling money HARD COLD CASH was wrong, it is nice, warm to the touch, while green it will go with anything that someone is wearing and or totiing. :0)

Lou, How come money only stinks when you have a lack of it. Manure is quite the opposite. The more you have, the worse the smell =)
