A public fountain in the center of Suwanee cools kids on summer days. Similiar to Atlanta's Centennial Park.
Money Magazine just released their top 100 places to live and Suwanee, Ga made the list.
Suwanee is still considered an "up and coming" city. It's somewhat reminiscent of Alpharetta ten years prior. Suwanee offers the convenience of some major thoroughfares, albeit most of them are under construction for expansion while offerring great schools at the same time. Some of the best elementary schools in Georgia are found in Suwanee.
Popular communities are Rivermoore Park, The River Club, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Laurel Springs, Riverwalk, and Barrington to name a few. Many of the neighborhoods are named for their proximity to the Chattahoochee River.
As I was doing research on this article, I found the CNN site to be filled with some helpful, biased information. You can select cities based on affordability and lifestyle, ect. You only get to really pick from their 100 list, but overall it's a neat tool
Peachtree City is another notable top 100 list inside of Metro Atlanta.
