Penn State Sets New Record This Weekend! No, Not Football, But Helping Kids With Cancer! THON 2010!

What is THONCongratulations go out to Penn State students this weekend!  Not only did Penn State's Dance Marathon (THON 2010) reach number 1 trending topic on twitter today, these students raised $7,838,054.36 this weekend!!  A new record!  Congratulations!  You guys danced your (let's say feet here).  You danced your feet off!  =)  Congratulations!  www.thon.org  Helping kids with cancer!  I'm proud to be part of this great community and to share such great news!

How great of the college students to help kids with cancer!  Community involvement is so important.  Thanks for such a positive post.

 Hi Nyssa..That is one  reason why I love Penn State..my 8 year old grandson just competed in a jumping rope marathon for charity also.  Penn State family and community involvement is exceptional.

Hey Nyssa, what wonderful news.  I guess the Nittany Lion is taking a bite out of cancer, hehe.  I was speaking with my sister yesterday and she was talking about how her volunteer work has added so much to her life both professionally and personally.  I am a big believer in giving.  It is just right. Thanks to all people who give and especially to the students of Penn State.
