Recently, I was at a location where the owner of a new shop had asked her friend, who I might add, has no training in re-design, staging or design. So I am standing there, not saying a word (which for me is somewhat odd ). She was trying to arrange a lobby that had too much furniture and a rug that could not fit going straight from one side to the other without being way off center. I watch, all the while, picturinghow she could arrange things and it would look amazing. She finally says, what can I do here ? I thought that meant she wanted my advice. So I said why not turn the rug cattey-cornered ? She walked behind me and ROLLED HER EYES, oh yes she did !! I just walked away, said nothing, just walked away....Oh how I wanted to say lots of things to her, but did not. AND we will not even bring up some of the decorations that she had in there...Have you ever been in a situation like this before ?
