Farming

Title Insurance with Stewart Title of California

Hi everyone, I would like to recommend valuable ways to use title insurance data in your business that can help both of us and ultimately assist the consumer with their home purchase or sale.

Let's start by defining a farm - a geographical area of homeowners that you would like to target for your communication.  Farms can be defined many ways from the basic neighborhood, city, zip code or simply a radius farm.  A radius farm is those properties that are within a radius of a subject property or landmark you want to target.

Our Title Insurance Company has access to data that can assist you with mailing, phoning or simply door knocking to generate possible interest in buying or selling of properties.  Our goal is to stimulate interest and the consumer's knowledge of whom and what you are to connect with you on their next real estate transaction.

Feel free to call Consumer's Title to help.

Hi Scott,  What kind of data is available from title companies for Realtors® to use?  What are the costs?

Hi Tricia, it will vary since I am located in California and the Dept. of Insurance has some strict guildlines on what we can give to Real Estate agents. For example, your local Title Co. may be able to provide you with the Notice of Default list but we are unable to do so. Please check with your local company. Have a great day.

Excellent post!   A lot of people don't understand what it means to really farm and who can help them with advice on it. Title company is still one of the best partner in farming.
