Linda - Excellent Post! I so agree with your style. "B" is definitely more rewarding! I am a fan of Jennifer Allan's "Selling with Soul" book and style ... if you haven't read it - I'm sure you'll enjoy. Blessings t you always!
I'm with you - I have gained many friends over the years from selling them a house and staying in touc with them. A great way to get referrals and friends.
I am definitely the Type B realtor too, since i'm a psychologist that shouldn't be surprising. I truly miss talking to me clients when the deal closes and I don't need to be in daily contact with them. One of the reasons I love this job is because of those great relationships that we can cultivate. Nice compliment from Frank (#7).
Linda- what a great post. I hope that I am considered a type B Realtor. The money is great, but the relationships are worth so much more.
I think I must be somewhere in between because I am all business but am nver motivated by money. The clients is always 1st in advice and guidance.
Frank, You are the go-to lender.
Margaret, I think I know what you are referring to. These 2 types are not from a study but are from my own thought process.
Stacey-Ann, Without a doubt you are a Type B.
Ellie, I'm sure you are considered at Type B.
Bill, A balance is important.
Thanks for reading!
I too am a type B and proud of it! Takes all of us to make the world go round but type B is right for me!
Linda, Just noticed your points included my favorite number 90,944 Points
We are having an ActiveRain gathering in Baltimore next weekend. Hope to see you!
Anne, It does take all kinds. I'm happy to be a Type B, too.
Margaret, You need to tell me where and when.
