Search Engine Optimization

Over time, I've put together this list of websites where you can register your personal site in an effort to increase your search engine optimization.  In other words, help you get higher when a search result is returned.  Below is a list of many of the sites that I've found.  If you are working to increase the traffic to your site, try registering at as many of these sites that you can.  For purposes of full disclosure, I have not yet tried all of these sites, so I don't know if they are all effective.  But, I figured that it couldn't hurt to try.  Does anyone know of other websites that will help?
