Registration has been extended until Friday, February 26, 2010, so if you have not registered, it is not
too late to do so. Please fill out a registration form that you can print from our website and turn it in to
the Recreation Department, a board member, or our P.O. Box. on or before Friday, February 26, 2010.
Coaching - If you would like to coach an age group for the 2010 Baseball/Softball Season, please go to
our website at and fill out the coaches commitment form and either send
it in, or email it to Please remember that all coaches, assistant coaches, and
any parent/volunteer that will be on the field with children are required to have a background
check on file with the Destrehan Booster Club every year. So if you did yours last year at
Baseball/Softball season a new one is needed. Please get these turned in as soon as possible.
Sponsorships are now being accepted for the Baseball/Softball Season. If you are interested in
sponsoring a team, or know someone who is, you can print the Sponsor form off of our website and send
it in with the $250 sponsor fee.
Jamboree has been set for April 15-18th, so please try to keep these dates open if you have a child that
will be playing. Also, many volunteers will be needed to make this weekend successful, so please email
Duane Dufrene at if you are able to volunteer your time.

Yes, I do but a smaller league. It is more like a tee ball type league for the little ones not yet ready for the playground. None the less they have fun.
