Well, the groundhog has spoken and winter is here to stay, at least for a little while longer. So, rather than hunkering down for the remainder of the season, grab the kids and go ice skating!
Okay, so I know what you’re probably thinking right about now…Ice…Florida…huh? Don’t worry, you read it correctly.
The Pensacola Civic Center, located in Downtown Pensacola, offers public ice skating a few times per month during the winter season. It’s a great (and unique) way to spend some time with family, and is certain to provide you with some great memories years down the road!
Ticket Prices:
- $8 Adult/Child (includes skate rental)
- $5 Adult/Child (if you have your own skates)
- $6 Adult/Child (if you have a group of 15 or more, this includes skate rentals)
- $125 if you want a Season Pass
There are 3 skating sessions:
- 1:30pm-2:30pm
- 3:00pm-4:00pm
- 4:30pm-5:30pm
Also, you must click this link http://www.pensacolaciviccenter.com/images/stories/promoters/skatewaiver.pdf and fill out the skate waiver form prior to taking part in the fun!
The next public ice skating day is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2010.
If you would like to find out more information or find out other scheduled ice skating days, just go to www.pensacolaciviccenter.com and click on Ice Skating in the menu bar to the left.
