Real Life Yard Art..That Moves......St Joseph MO 64506

St Joseph Mo has had a lot of severe weather this last week with 4-5 inches of snow on Friday and another 8 inches on Sunday for a total of about 35 inches for the winter season.  This evening at dinner my husband looked out the kitchen window, spotting these beauties, Real Life Yard Art!

While watching these beautiful creatures of nature, they were actually looking for something to eat, seems the only thing above snow level was the bark off the neighbors tree.

Hi Dona~  I think that they are some of the most beautiful and awesome creatures in the wild!

What a beautiful environment. I love winter scenes, and the deer just make this even better.

Hi Vickie, They are beautiful aren't they? Such a calming creature to watch.  Have a great week!

Doug!  I agree:)  Between the deer, 1000 geese on the lake and yesterday I saw a coyote walking across the frozen lake, feel like I am living in the wild.   Awesome!

Lynda, Aren't they beautiful creatures?  I don't always see them but they are here quite often.  They eat some of my flowers and skin my weeping willow branches in the summer.  Missouri is heavily deer populated.

Hi Donna.  Very awesome indeed.  About the time I left my home in Maryland, I was starting to see herds of deer in my yard.  I miss them!

Dona - You're right!  Some folks pay for statues to have that kind of ambiance:-)  However, I suspect there's doesn't eat the folliage:-)

Melinda, Most likely I better not guess! (lol) maybe you could post a photo for us here....Have a great weekend!

Richard: We do not see these beauties that often, possibly due to all the snow since Christmas they are likely starving.  It was a real treat to see them in the neighborhood.

Tony!  I thought for a minute that the Holiday Season was even going to return!  They did not stay long but long enough for me to grab a shot.  Hope to see you soon.

John..Agreed:)  Most usually they are laying along the Interstate, so this was a beautiful sight in our neighbors yard!  I love to watch them don't you?

Myrl,  I have all kinds of statuary in my flower garden, but nothing like the beauty they displayed that evening, so cool!  Have a great weekend!

Donna - now that is my kid of "yard art" .... nature has an abundance of "yard art" .... unfortunately for most they never slow down long enough to see it or enjoy it even when they do see it.

Hi Kathy, I agree!  I was preparing dinner when my husband said get your camera!  It is a beautiful world out there if we just see the beauty each and every day, isn't it?  Hope you have a great week!

It's amazing what computer microchips can do nowadays. Put one in a fake deer and it walks across the lawn. Even in the snow! LOL

Don't mind me. I'm just the court jester!
