I was considering a move-across country. I had a snow day with my daughter and a long talk with my husband-then I got an offer at home (here in Texas) actually got 2 of them but, one wasn't real (couldn't be trusted). We decided to take the real one and now I am blown away each day by the amazing opportunity. I am blessed to be in the middle of a group of producing, creative, fun agents. They aren't in the office very often they seem to drop in and drop off contracts and then head out again to gather a couple more before we see them again. Thursdays have become a gathering time though.
I am teaching again and happy to be doing so. Thursday mornings we are offering classes on real estate related topics with a technical spin. (For those who know me you knew it had to be so!)Looking for sponsors for lunch too.
So far we have covered Buyers:(where to find them, find one for your listings, and how to get their phone numbers) and Listings: (Where to find FSBO's, doing CMA's, 20 reasons why a property doesn't sell for expired listings, Absorption rates, etc.) Next week we will be discussing Networking, How to work a room and how many ways you can speak English effectively, (this is a leadin class to how to write an ad that MAKES the phone ring!). The only technical side to that one is the powerpoint presentation so far.
I am excited to be able to issue invitations to Realtor friends to come visit and join the classes.
