Buying a short sale in Park City, Utah 84060 - Industry experts highly recommend an "Infrared Home Inspection"

By
Real Estate Technology with Alamo Infrared, LLC

Are you purchasing a short sale, vacant or unoccupied home, condo or townhome in Park City, Utah? Industry experts and the federal government all agree and recommend using thermal infrared cameras on all home inspections.

Hi resolution infrared thermal imaging is the only tool to uncover hidden water and sewer drain leaks that most often occur when a vacant home sits unattended over the winter. We are finding an ever increasing number of vacant homes with small plumbing leaks that only high-rez infrared cameras can find. These leaks, if left unrepaired will only cause a mold problem to manifest itself in the months to come. Alamo Infrared is the original infrared home inspection and energy auditing company in the Rocky Mountain West. For more information visit our website:  www.utahenergyaudit.com  www.umrt.com

Alamo Infrared is the oldest and largest building inspector and energy auditor for homes, businesses, medical and government buildings in the Rocky Mountain West.

Very interesting. I had not heard of this use of infrared. We have family in Park City, and love to visit! Also, by your picture, I guess you're into flying. I grew up in an airplane, and have been trying desperately to get back into it. Thanks for sharing!

Joseph, thanks for your comment, and yes infrared thermal imaging is being heavily used in the inspection and auditing business. I guess I did grow up with aviation, I got my wings 32 years ago and owned 15 aircraft over the years and still currently flying airplanes and balloons. I probably should have joined the air force and saved a ton a money.  Soft landings!
