Relay for Life Garden Tour

This years fourth annual Relay for Life Garden Tour is Sunday July 22 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and features seven gardens three in Bellingham, two in Ferndale, & two in Laurel. 


The tour is dedicated to the memory of Pat Brady, who died in December after losing her battle with breast cancer. Brady helped start the state Department of Social and Health Services team that raised money for the American Cancer Society through two  fundraisers - the Relay for Life walk and the garden tour. Last year, members raised nearly $8,000.


A donation of $10 per person is requested from those going on the tour. 
Tickets are available at Whatcom County garden nurseries, including:
Gardens at Padden Creek, 2014 Old Fairhaven Parkway; Garden Spot Nursery, 900 Alabama St.; De Wilde's Nursery, 3410 Northwest Ave.; A Lot of Flowers, 1212 11th St.; Kent's Garden & Nursery, 5428 Northwest Road; Bear Creek Nursery, 4999 Samish Way - all in the Bellingham area.
Hi Hoe Nursery, 8773 Northwood Road in Lynden.
