What does the average home buyer or seller really want in a Realtor?  Are we too friendly? Are we too intimidating?  Do we need to “touch” more?  I don’t mean physically touch you but more emails,  phone calls, text messages?  What would you think if I showed up in Jeans for our first meeting?  Not jeans and a tee shirt but a nice pair of jeans and a sweater. 

 

When we are sitting down and getting to know each other and  I am asking you questions about what you are looking for and what your motivation is what is it that you want to know about me?  I know that  I am trying to find out as much about you as I can to really be able to help you find what you really want.  For a single is your dream to live downtown where the night life is? Or do you really want the ‘burbs?  Or maybe just a single family home of your own.  So Right now there are so many choices.  And I don’t mean just houses.  Also the agent you work with.  Do you want one who is all business or a family friend?  Do you want to stay in touch more by email and text message or phone?  Hmmm.  What do you really want?

What I over hear in stores and other public places is, " I went with the Realtor that told me the highest price".  What a qualification.
