This is a regularly updated site. If the listing is on the site, it should be availble. Upon entry, investors must wait usually up to two weeks before bidding, allowing time for buyers who will occupy the home first chance at it.

Hi Marilyn, we are seeing more and more HUD owned homes here in California.  It prompted me to become a HUD registered broker.  I love that HUD allows owner-occupants to bid before the investors have a go at it.

Cynthia, I agree - I thinks it's great that the owner occupants get that opportunity! Thanks and have a great day!

We are still seeing more and more here as well. They do a great job with the bidding the way it is encouraging owner occupant first.
