Localism Posting problem

Hi there-

I'm in need of some help.  I'm having trouble figuring out how to get tables/stats to "translate" properly from my AR blog to Localism.  I've tried going the .pdf route, but the text comes out fuzzy and I'm not at all happy with the appearance.  And if I leave the table/stats in the content, it comes out all garbled and messed up on the Localism side.  I'm not yet set up on word press (learning in progress), which might fix it.

If you're having trouble understanding what I'm talking about, take a look at my post: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1513691/chevy-chase-real-estate-wrap-up-for-2009-

In the meantime, I've tried posting a second article, this time addressed only to the Localism folks, minus the stats, with a link to the full article.

Does anyone have a better suggestion?  Hope to hear from you.  Many thanks.

Hi Rebecca-  I did get an answer to my question (of sorts)!  I'm still working out the kinks, but am quite sure I'll get it all figured out.  I contacted Steven Graham of AR and he led me straight to the source.  For anyone interested, here are some great links:

Jeff Turner offers up a wonderful tutorial on creating graphs via a free download from google: http://activerain.com/blogsview/240015/ar-tutorials-adding-charts-to-your-posts

Denise Hamlin shows us how she managed to make sense of it all, and adds another easy chart source, as well: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1487709/adding-graphs-charts-to-your-market-reports-is-a-lot-easier-than-you-think-

Joe Manausa does an amazing job of explaining how to work with Microsoft Excel: http://activerain.com/blogsview/601418/how-to-make-market-graphs-for-your-blog

Theresa Boardman suggested OpenOffice.org as a free source for graph and chart creation.  Sounds like she has had great success with it.

One thing that seems to be critical for the transfer of charts and graphs from an AR blog to Localism or an outside blog is size.  Keep it under 600 pixels maximum width and all should go well.  Haven't tested this one out yet, but I'm hopeful.

Hope this helps others in the same boat as me.  AND, if you've got more info to share, please post it here so we all can learn!  Luddite that I am, I sure would appreciate it.
