Motivational Power Quote

It's How We Look at It

"I can complain because rosebushes have thorns,

or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses:

it all how you look at it."

J. Kenfield Morley, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

It's how we look at it

We can look into the night and see the darkness or we can look and see the stars.

We can look at the market conditions and complain about them or we can work hard to change our conditions.

How we look at things will determine what we see.  What we see will determine the course of action that we take. Our course of action will determine our level of success.

How we look at things is determined by our thinking.

When we get our thinking right we will look things in a different light and that light will change our direction.

Kind of like, the glass is half full, versus half empty.  I would much rather appreciate the beauty of the roses!

Hi Lou, Our perpective plays such an important role, and on a "bad day" the thornbush deserves another look :-)  I agree, we can change the way we see things and it makes a huge difference

Great quote! It's definitely all about how you look at it.  I also love the quote "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

Have a great day Lou!

Lou, well said....if someone is in a bad mood looking to complain, they will find the sun is too bright, the blue is too blue, etc!

Focus on what you can do - not what you can't- love this quote, Lou. Thanks.

Hi Lou, It's all about perception, isn't it? Some people instinctively know how to make lemonade out of lemons.
