Suddenly walking is in trend. Over the last few years studies have shown that buyers are interested more then ever before in a neighborhoods walk ability. People now want to live in areas where if they have a car they can park it and walk to local restaurants, parks etc. I thought this site might be useful to First Time Buyers unfamiliar with an area to calculate the walk ability of the address. http://www.walkscore.com If you are interested in listings in a specific area shoot me an email or go to my website for more information on local listings http://www.debbiegreto.yourkwagent.com

Debbie,
What a great idea. It does help those who are interested and wanting to walk more.

I always mention walkscore in a listing presentation when it is 70 or above and then do a full page print out of the map and details to display at the open house. Potential buyers like to see what's in the neighborhood.
