Sticky Pod Mini to mount a small camera on your dashboard

By
Industry Observer

I am not a big fan of those real estate agent talking head videos featuring the agent rambling on about this or that topic while driving .....

But that said, I think this little device, the Sticky Pod Mini Dashboard/window Camera Mount, could have plenty of uses:

Watch the video here:  http://www.stickypod.com/osc/product_info.php?products_id=55

I think I just might order the three pack in the next few days.

I think they are funny when I see those videos.

I also don't care for the talking agent in the car...I worry they're going to get in an accident!  I do like to experiment with my camera in my car shooting the neighborhood as I drive though.  I tried a different sticky pod and was disappointed as it wasn't stable.  I'll have to check into this one as it looks a little more sturdy.  Thanks for sharing!

Terri, That's what I am thinking, too, Shooting the Neighborhood.  As it is now, whenever I see something interesting, and slow down to shoot it, I seem to create a traffic jam of cars lined up behind me.  Sigh.  :-)

Obviously  they are all way better drivers than me .... I can not talk on my phone and drive.

If you can't talk and drive at the same time without having an accident, what do the people riding with you think about that?

I have to agree that video blogging while driving isn't all that impressive, but the reason can't be because it's dangerous.

My plan for the sticky pod is more to be able to shoot quick stills of the neighborhood as I'm driving around.  For example ... sometimes around here you see some pretty interesting original mural art painted on the sides of trucks and cargo vans....

That is a good plan (and I love that cargo van--wow). I ad always wondered why the camera is so still when folks are driving. I think I get it now. Maybe I should get one also?

Wow CJ this is interesting.  I went to the video & was hopeing the camera was included.  (wishful thinking, of course not at that price).  I bet the footage of while we are driving would be interesting, never know what we would catch on film.
