The Things You See in Grand County!

I was showing homes the other day in Lake Forest, a quaint subdivision that sits on the north shore of Lake Granby, when some unlikely neighbors came to greet us.

It was a mama and a baby moose!  We got out of the car very slowly and waited for a second to make sure we didn’t spook them. Mama moose are notorious for protecting their young by charging their “threat” at full speed.

This mama was so busy munching on the Aspen trees in the front yard that she didn’t even pay attention to us. Once we got inside the home the baby walked right up to the window and looked in like he wanted to see the home too!
