Good afternoon everybody.
I need to correct a few facts in yesterday's blog post about Alexander Chandler's award. It seems I have fallen victim to what I loathe in the media, a rush to publish before I had my facts straight. Wes Turner who presented the award is Chairman of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. I stated he was Vice President. Also Alex won the Emerging Business award, not small business of the year. I hope my poor reporting doesn't detract from Alex's efforts and his well deserved award. It is I that is diminished and I apologize for my inaccuracies.
Thank you Andra Bennett (not related), Director of Communications for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce for pointing these errors out in a most gentle way. I appreciate it.
If ya'll can find it in your heart to give me another chance I promise to be more diligent.
