April 10, 2010 Downtown Lewisburg is the place to be! The 4th annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival is one of the areas most popular events. The event offers great chocolate of course, but pleanty of fun for the entire family.
The Main event will be on Saturday April 10 2010 from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be over 30 tasting locations in downtown Lewisburg. Tickets for the event will go on sale March 8th 2010, hurry while tickets last! They sell out pretty fast with the event being so popular.
The events will kick off on Thursday March 8th, 2010 at Carnegie Hall. They are offering a class named "Chocolate for Dinner" that will be a delight to anyone who enjoys cooking. Saturday will start off early with the Chocolate Brunch at the Greenbrier Public Library. At 11 am the tasting begins and you can make your way down historic Lewisburg. With special events like the "Chocolate bake-off", Mousse Eating Contest, and Lewis Theater will present "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory", the day will be full of enents. Don't forget the evening concert at Carnegie Hall. Featuring Paquito D"Rivera who received the "National Medal for the Arts", a concert that will be a treat for all who attent.
