Are you confident enough in Real Estate to NOT look at other options?

I'm not, and neither are a great many of other Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Bankers, Politicians, College Professors, Law Makers, Big Business men and Small Business men.

If you are with me on this, what are you doing to "Pay the bills" over and above what your current career provides? I'd like to see what the mindset is out there and how's it working for you?

Dr. Richard Baker, Professor of Economics at the University of Delaware signed up with the company I'm with a few days ago, and my good friend Bob DeCant (used to own a construction company in Toledo, Ohio) made over $175,000.00 for the month of January with this company too. Nice option to build up to wouldn't you say?

The beautiful thing is that you don't have to quit what you currently do, just supplement it with as little or as much as you care to earn. Fair enough?

One more thing....."Over 10,000 people a month are looking at, joining, and beginning the process of "taking back their future." Just because there is a recession going on, don't mean we have to participate in it."

I do on purpose lead generation. I plan & time block & make those calls. It works for me. it is a small thing but so valuable. Hope things work out for you :)

With everything on the down side it makes sense that their will be fewer successful Real Estate agents in the future than in the past. Most people have cut back in spending and most people have lost a big chunk of their retirement. It's a buyers market. These are the facts. How do you capitalize in this market?

Christina, Great!!! I hope things work out for you beyond your wildest dreams. I know mine will!

Daniel, For Real Estate, I had to get out of the traditional market and focus on Foreclosures and HUD"s. If and when I choose to take a listing, I'm brutally honest with the homeowners about what it takes to sell their home, and if they are not willing to work my system, my way, I refuse the listing. I believe I have to price and market the same as: 1. The banks in our area, and 2. HUD's.

Price for the market, massive price adjustments if needed, and target to sell today rather than a month from now. It's all about "Value" and if you can't show that, they're dead in the water.

My other option shows value too. Remember, it's about the money, not whether you believe it works or not, or even like it, but a great many of us do and are enjoying ourselves, and not worried about the future because of it.

Barbara: It is interesting, and the passion I used to have for Real Estate has transferred over to this. Don't get me wrong, I still do real estate, but when passion turns into a job, you better start looking for something else. Lifes to short to have to work a job.
