When I first heard about this house it was promoted as the Brooklyn, NY's smallest house. I would like to see if anyone knows of something smaller. It occupies what used to be a driveway, it's one bedroom, one bathroom and sits on a parcel of land 7.25 feet wide and 113.67 feet long. It's interior area is about 299 square feet. It's for sale for $479,000 (or so I heard at first). It's a bargain which includes a window air conditioner, a stach washer/ dryer and a small (what else) brick patio. Truth is upon further investigation the house is actually in Toronto and couldn't sell at $179,000 though it was marketed as a bogus listing in NYC. People were lining up for it at almost $500,000. Alas...it was rented after it couldn't be sold.

James,
Great story thanks for sharing. Often hear about the largest homes, but nothing about the smallest. That is a hefty price per sq ft.
