Isn't Life Grand.. You can play in Million Dollar Homes and get Paid to do it!!!

My Vacant Staging Day went off without a hitch. I added the link to the Show my Blog (My First Vacant Staging) that put voice to my excitement of even being asked to quote a job in this price range. But Getting the Bid was even more exciting. I even got paid to go shopping, any sane wonan's dream!!!

I only did the Great Room and put accessories on the Breakfast Bar and in the Kitchen of this house so if you would like to see the whole house ,view the Detail buttons for the link to the listing. The furnishings (a special thanks to American Furniture Rentals) were a perfect match, size and color. The wall color had a tinge of pink in the paint but the brown tones softened the "glow" and made the whole room pop.

I can't wait for my next adventure into Vacant Staging. I now see why Val loves it and has vacants as her speciality. I am waiting for a return call on a 10,000 s/f and may need her advice on this one!!!

Hi Kathy,

You did a great job staging the house! I agree with you. It's so much fun to shop for funiture and accessories and get paid for it. I recently took a staging course in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey and received my ASP accredidation. I've staged 3 homes so far but nothing in your price range. Keep up the good work and any tips you can pass along will be appreciated.

Kathy that looks great! The videos are really adding a lot of benefit to the final product. I think this will help people see the real benefit of home staging.

Joyce, You are in the best place for hints and tips. The Home Stagers on AR are the best in the business. I read everything I can because even if it is a tongue in cheek blog or a quick tip, there is always something to be learned from the pros... check out Craig for one. He cracks me up. AR is getting close to 40,000 members and I am really proud to be one of them.

Have you emailed your RES to American Furniture Rentals store manager? Since you are highlighting their furniture and maybe a few tweaks with the wording, they might use it in their marketing and how awesome for you!!!!

I sent it to the gal that helped me with the quote as soon as it was finished. I can say that AFR is a great vendor. They want to use some of my photos in their next Home Stager brochure. I am working on another mega home so i can have this much fun twice iin one month... Wish me luck....
