First time buyers

First time buyers and people not owning a home for the past three years are still able to receive a check from the government, if they sign the papers to purchase a home no later then April thirty-first and close before July first. I have had several people asking about the check in the past. Most thought it was a reduction in your tax rate. It is not. You actually receive a check after filling out IRS form 5405. This did make 2009 a great year as far as sales. It may help a little this year for some that were not able to make a purchase last year.
