More and more Roanoke Virginia home owners are waking up with the reality that a decision has to be made of whether they food will be put on the table for their families or pay their mortgage payment.  I think that home owners need to make every effort to pay their mortgage payment, but when it becomes obvious that the mortgage payment is not going to be made they need to take positive, proactive steps to ensure that they do not get foreclosed on.  With more and more Roanoke properties being foreclosed on it is imperative that if you cannot make your mortgage payments you need to call and find out what the alternatives are.

If the bank is sending you correspondence, read it. Most foreclosures are avoidable. Many Roanoke VA foreclosures are caused by the seller burying their head in the sand and trying to ignore the mail and the correspondence that the bank is sending....believe me....I know they are annoying!  They really don't want to foreclose though!  Sometimes you can do a loan modification, sometimes not.  You will never know if you don't talk to the bank and have an open dialogue with them.  If you don't know what to do or day, call me, I will help.
