Do you have a listing that refuses to reduce its price but the seller has the means to do it? We are less than 60 days from the "under contract" deadline for the tax credits being offered by the government. The concensus out there is that this will not be extended again. Sellers need to understand the urgency and price their homes to sell if they haven't already done so.
I have a few listings that are prime for first time homebuyers. This is their opportunity to get a contract! I am going to have a "heart to heart" conversation with them early this week. This conversation will result in me knowing how motivated my clients are to sell their current home. I am going to ask them.....How motivated are you to sell your current home? They have said all along they are motivated. When I start talking price reduction to get their home under contract in less than 60 days, I hope my sellers are true to their word.
Don't waste any more time. Get those final price reductions now. April 30th will be here before you know it!
