Becoming HUD Approved, Selling HUD Homes

Recently our office in Alpharetta has been bouncing around the idea of getting into the HUD Home Selling & Listing business...as well as becoming HUD approved for buyers. From the buy side we could essentially cover all real estate transactions done in the State of Georgia.

I would like to hear from other agents who have been successful in doing this.

I'm not an agent but I do work with an agent that is in to HUD homes, I manage the expense account. It will be 2 years in January and I must say that he has never had any less than 125 properties at any given time. I am seeing a lot of agents throwing their hats into the arena and making it a success. It's a lot of work.
