Self-esteem is like a flower
A flower is a beautiful thing to look at when it's in full bloom.
A person with self-esteem is a beautiful thing to see when they radiate their confidence and their sense of worth.
To experience the full beauty of a flower it has to be cared for and cultivated.
Self-esteem has to be nurtured to bloom. The nurturing can come from us, a parent, a close friend, a coworker or someone that cares about the person.
Nurturing a child can build their self-esteem and a foundation for a successful life. At other time the nurturing can support a person in rebuilding their self-esteem after a severe setback.
If you know someone who needs a boost be there to nurture them. If you need a boost find someone that can mentor you.
