Today, we are thrust into situations where we must trust. Trust - is it something we truly have today? We trust that our doctor will take care of us. We trust that our city services will protect and serve us. We trust that our employers truly care about our successes which become their successes. Our Sellers and Buyers trust that we, the Realtors, will do our best to get their home sold or purchased.
Amid all the hustle and bustle of the so called ever-changing real estate market we continually trust that each new day will bring promise and hope (trust).
Another definition: hope for future: hopeful reliance on what will happen in the future.
What happens when we feel our trust in others is jeopardized? Are we quick to point fingers? Do we lash out because we are the ones with trust issues not others? How would our Buyers or Sellers react if they could not trust us? We definitely would not receive calls. I encounter new people everyday and am thankful I have the ability to trust and work hard to protect my professional position. Let us start trusting ourselves first and maybe we will see a more productive life.
Ralph Waldo Emerson says, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
