Rey Center Open Hours
Immerse yourself in all things Curious George at the Rey Center in Town Square (2nd level). Try your hand at drawing in the style of H.A. Rey, relax on a bean-bag chair and read your favorite Curious George stories, see original art work by the Reys, and more. All ages welcome.  Admission is by donation.  603-236-3308.

Literary Discussion Group
Join the Literary Discussion Group at the Curious George Cottage for an intellectual evening discussing poems, short stories and essays.  Hors d’oeuvres are potluck, so please bring something to share.  Readings are provided in advance.  The cost is $5 per person for Rey Center members, $8 per person for non-members.  Multi-month advance payment discounts are available.  603-236-3308.

Rey Center Lecture
Have you ever noticed the sign at the entrance to town announcing that Waterville Valley is the birthplace of freestyle skiing and wondered, “who’s the guy on the sign?”  That silhouette has a name and a face.  On Saturday, March 6, the Rey Center joins forces with the Waterville Valley Black and Blue Trail Smashers Ski Club (WVBBTS) to bring you the story of freestyle skiing and answer the question, “who’s that guy?”  The program starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Rey Center in Town Square.  All ages are welcome.  There is a $5 per person suggested donation to attend.  603-236-3308.

Slopeside Church Service.  All are welcome to attend this non-denominational service held outside on the deck of the Sunnyside Timberlodge.

Monday-Sunday, March 8-14

Freestyle Junior Olympics at the Ski Area.  Events include: Superpipe, Slopestyle, Moguls and Aerials. Visit www.wvbbts.org for more info.

Missy Lash leads Pure Power Yoga classes at the White Mountain Athletic Club.  All levels are welcome to participate in the Vinyasa style flow practice (no membership is required).  The cost is $13 per person.

Film Night
Watch “Annie Hall” at the Rey Center in Town Square.  Film night is for adults and is BYOB.  Popcorn is supplied.  Admission is a suggested donation of $5.  603-236-3308.

Cross-country ski 2 for 1 at the Nordic Center in Town Square.

Poacher the Pooch
Come meet Poacher the K-9 officer and his partner, NH Fish & Game Conservation Officer Mark Hensel, at the Rey Center in Town Square.  They will discuss and demonstrate the work they do together in New Hampshire – from search and rescue missions to busting poachers.  Appropriate for adults and families with children ages 8+.  Admission is by donation.  603-236-3308.
