Robert, what would you say are the primary benefits that make it worthwhile for a property manager to attend? Not questioning it, just would like to hear your perspective.

I have been attending NARPM Conventions for years for the following reasons:

1.  To hear how other single family property managers approach the business.  How do they make money? How do they communicate with their clients.  What services to they provide.  How many employees to they employ to manage what they manage.

2.  To see many vendors that serve our industry in one place.

3.  To hear speakers from the Department of Real Estate and other industry professionals that are a part of our industy.

4.  Earn designations.

5.  Opportunities to give back to the industry through teaching, committee involvement, leaderhship of the association.

6.  I have made a lot of friends over the years and I want to see them.  This is a part of networking which leads to potential new business.
