Builders are coming back

Everywhere I see builders getting back in the building game.  It's just beginning, but I can smell the new lumber, and see the studs getting put up on a regular basis.  Prices on lots in Jackson County Oregon are less than 1/2 what they were just a few years ago, and it's becoming a financial reality to be able to build a new home for the same price or just a little more than a used one.  I see 2003 prices on lots, and some even less expensive.  An East Medford building lot can be had for $75,000.  Back in 2006, that same lot was $189,000 or more.
