Shopping the Town is my latest catch phrase. In sunny Florida, although colder than usual, our state has once again become the destination of choice. We have streams of prospective home owners cruising the state, Shopping the Town, hoping to finding that perfect place at that perfect price.
No more Global Warming for them. They want sunshine, even if it requires a coat! Snow is just great in, "It's a Wonderful Life", but give them a good old fashioned Hurricane and they will take it and like it.
For the past two years things have been quiet. (That would be an understatement) March has brought the renewed hope of Spring, the Robins are singing and so are the phone lines. I hear those Internet hits in my sleep and its music to my ears.

Showing property has taken on a whole new meaning. Its not just all about those fabulous foreclosures, its about everything that this town has to offer. You can spend 2 or 3 days touring around with your buyer's and in the end, they check out of their hotels and set off for the next city. You wish them well and hope that your town wins!
Then one day your phone rings and there they are! Your town has won, Shopping the Town!
I am curious to see if any of you other warm weather cities have experienced Shopping the Town.
