As I see it. . . . . . . .

Happiness is a choice  

We make the choice on the way we want to live our life.  

We can choose to be a happy person and to find personal fulfillment or we can choose to be an unhappy disconnected person.  

The way we see our life is the way we view our happiness.  

Happiness becomes our choice and that choice begins in our thinking.    

Happiness comes from inside the person and may be manifested in many little things in life and from the quality of our thinking.   

Happiness is not a destination it's a choice to enjoy their journey.

I agree 100%, the happiest people I know are those that even those having a bad day have a smile on their face, because they know there is and always will be someone else having a worse day. When you can laugh even when depressed, you bring a smile to those around you and you are healthier for it.

I had someone asked me a couple of weeks ago how I always seemed to be so happy. My response was I did not know any other way. Maybe I made a choice so long ago I now have no choice!

Lou--just reading this post makes me happy!  Happiness is a choice we make EVERY day.  If someone is not happy I suggest "fake it until you make it" and it's suprising how quickly you will truly feel happy!
