Old Republic

Real Estate Agent with Long & Foster-south

I have taken a few BPOs with this company.  They pay way less than most, but claim they will give REO listings.  Lately, they have sent emails wanting me to join their system and take training for $.  They pay on time, but I am so busy that if I get an interior for $80 and they offer $55, that is a no brainer. Has anyone ever received a REO listing from them?  Just curious.  Personally, I am not planning to do any more low priced BPOs for anyone. Business from the legitimate companies has never been better. Old Republic pays $35 for a driveby and $55 for an interior. NO MORE!  Something is  not right with this company.

I think you are right.  $35 is just to low for the amt of work you have to do.

Actually, I have done BPO's for this company, but never did get a listing.  However, I ended up getting listings from Old Republic as soon as I got to know a couple of asset mangers.  That's how you do it.

Janice I am with you on this. Old Republic used to pay more, but I believe in the last 6-7 months they started offering the lower fee.

I still continue to receive offerings of BPO's from them, but as you say their fee is too low. With some of the other companies you can negotiate.
