It has now been confirmed that we will visit the Canadian and Italian Embassy
in Washington DC on March 26-March 28, 2010.
Please join me and FIABCI colleagues at the installation of our new President
Wayne Carroll and help me thank Judy Shenefield for the great job she has
done this year. As the Past President of FIABCI-USA 2007-2008 I can
honestly say it is an honor to serve this organization.
FIABCI is an organization headquartered out of Paris and has chapters in
60 different countries. Colleagues meet numerous times during the year
to market properties, network, and learn about international real estate.
I have been a member of this organization since 1987 and can honestly
say when I joined I heard the President at that time talk about a
designation called "Certified Internatiional Property Specialist" (CIPS)
I didn't know what it was, all I knew is that I wanted to be one.
The word International has always intrigued me because I was born
and raised in Czechoslovakia and I moved to the United States as a
teenager. When I received my real estate license I knew I wanted to
help other foreign buyers to buy their first home in the U.S. and I
wanted to translate for them in their own language. That is why I hired
Bi-Lingual agents and our motto was "SOLD IN any LANGUAGE".
