I don't think it's quite #1 because I think you should find a good quality agent first to explain the process in their market ara. Then that agent can refer lenders that in their experience can close a deal on time and is fair and honest. I do agree it should be moved up though, so I did.

Laura, I think it important to combine #2 and #4, get a mortgage that you have you know after careful review you can sustain the payments.
