Colts Neck, New Jersey Custom Pottery: Introducing Bella Terra by Jennifer Pellechio-Lukowiak

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Perchance I met Jennifer Pellechio-Lukowiak last year, another Colts Neck, New Jersey resident. Jennifer is a talented artist who creates and sells handmade pottery. Many of her most popular works include Tuscan, Italian themes.

Her stuff is earthy and rich. (My pictures do not do Jennifer's art justice.  You can't eat off a Picasso by the way.)

The Tuscany region of Italy celebrates life, food and love.  So Liz and I commissioned Jennifer to create a set of heavy mugs for coffee, tea and hot cocoa.

We were so impressed with the quality and detail that this winter we asked Jennifer for a set of deep-dish bowls, the kind for soup, cereal and oatmeal. With a set of eight I no longer search for a bowl to hold my grog.

The wife is attracted to china, but I like the weight of a sturdy plate.  I'm trying to bring the goblet back to vogue.  I want the girth of an object to remind me it's in my hand.

To place an order for your own custom pottery or earthware you can reach Jennifer at (732) 674-6776.  Or preview her catalog and past creations at the Bella Terra pottery website by clicking here.

If you do order, let Jennifer know you found her by my blog.  Not that I'm angling for a discount.  Only a cad would try and cheat an artist.  I'm wondering if anyone reads this thing and clicks through to my linked websites.

You will not be disappointed by Jennifer's service or quality.

Andrew- It would be really cool to post some photos of some of her pottery. I, for one, would love to see it. I am sure it is very eye appealing. Katerina

I have a few thoughts, but I imagine they would be special order type items.  Factor in the interstate lines mumbo jumbo and, well, I'll just have to try a slug of joe out of your urn the next time I'm in Jersey.

@ Katrina, I don't type as fast as you la machina!  I was uploading :-)

@ Paul, I have broken my share of dainty glasses and finger food plates. Jennifer's work will survive Gallagher's sledgehammer.

@ Eric, Very impressed with Bella Terra Pottery.  I'm like a mother hen with my mugs and bowls, much to my children's chagrin.

Very nice. I have an empty house in FL waiting to be filled with stuff. I shall have to try to check you guys out. I'm thinking about making a brief run down there so I can mess with BB and TLW (among other people - LOL). Will call you if I'm going to hang out in your neck of the woods on the way back from Maryland. Should be cutting out in the morning and back by Tuesday. The boys have having men time while I run to business meetings with my gal pals. I would love to do lunch one day soon. :-)

Hey Lenza... I love the mugs... especially the handles!  A set of them would make a great closing gift!

We have a large art fair in Salem every year and get artists from all over the west coast to come here.  Last year we had an artist that had really earthy pottery I liked.  Kyle and I bought some of the goblets.  I was thinking I should have bought some bowls.  I'm with you...nothing like warm homemade soup and bread in the winter in a hearty dish.  It just feels warmer that way.

Andrew. How cool that you can tell her what you want and then she designs it.  I love one of the kind things and they are so RARE!
