Individuals Who Make Up The Team...It Takes Many To Get The Job Done Right
Great Advice. An Experienced Realtor will have many team members to get the job doen right. Our Office at John L. Scott Medford has a great team of support staff to back up your transaction.
The word " team" has a multifaceted definition for me. My team and I have a team of people with whom we do business. We have a team of loan officers with a count of three or four. We have a team of home inspectors with a count of three or four. We have a team of attorneys with a count of three or four. We have a team of independent appraisers, if we need them, with a count of three or four. We have a team of people in the trades with a count of at least three or four.
Teams are a necessity in order to do business properly and not have transactions fall through for the wrong reason. There are good reasons for a transaction to not close. If a buyer dies, gets divorced or his financial situation suddenly and unexpectedly changes, those are good reasons. That happens. I had a new home ready to close and the week of closing the buyers are not talking to each other and the divorce attorneys are both communicating with the seller and with me, the listing agent!!! Their deposit was returned, and I sold the home again. The point is that "stuff happens."
Our unexpected events that happen will not be the fault of an incompetent team member. It will not be the fault of the loan officer, the home inspector, the appraiser or the attorney. We have a team of experts with whom we have had positive experiences that enable us to entrust them with our business. We want to be assured that the job they do is of the highest quality and efficiency. That's what a team means to my team members and me. Each and every transaction is an important entity to us, and we will not lose a transaction for the wrong reason.
