Shrooms on the grill....
Portabello Mushrooms on the grill. You have got to try this. Get the biggest Portabello's you can find. Marinate them for at least 30 minutes before. I like to use some Worschester sauce, liquid smoke, a little Trilbeys BBQ sauce (from right here in Ferndale), and a touch of Ezra! (Ezra Brooks or Jack Daniels), but only about one shot. First take off the stems and just eat them raw, then place them on the grill with the feathered side down for about 3 to 5 on medium/low heat. then turn them over and poor in some of the marinade to keep them moist...about 3 to 5 minutes max...I love to serve them with baked beans.....or just put them between a bun like a hamburger and add your favorite condimints.
